rear axle limit straps

Question: Does your track GTA (with sliding block) have rear axle limit straps?

Years ago Alan Ward told me not to run straps as they could cause a rear wheel to lift and lose traction; I need to say that this was a general statement and did not necessarily apply to sliding block equipped suspensions.

I also suspect that factors such as rear spring rates and a LSD diff versus a locked diff might affect if one should run straps or not.
