Gtam brake
Hi there,
i am reading your forum for a while now and found the ammount of knowledge amazing!
I live in germany and own a couple of 105 Alfas, which i use on the street and on the track.
Right now i am thinking of building a Gtam replica, since we are allowed to race them in historic racing now. And i think it would be fun to race them around the Nürburgring .
I have a question regarding the front brake setup and after i have read all the related posts in the forum, i still have some things that i uncertain about....
I want to use 9x13 Gtam Replica wheels and i am not sure which front knuckles i have to use. Do i have to use the early ATE/Dunlup knuckles which use the extra bracket where the front claiper gets mounted, with the addition of the Knuckle riser extensions to get the clearance for the wheels????
If so can i use the porsche 911s aluminum front claipers???? Is there any difference between the 911s and the 911rs aluminum front claipers????
Which braket do i need, to mount the Porsche claipers to the knuckles??? The Performance options catalog states the part no for the brakets as 10548.22.103.23/24, is that the same as the braket they used on the first ATE brake setup with the extra braket during 1966/1967???
And last is there a source where i can get the correct brake discs in the correct diameter of 9,8" 22mm vented???
Would be thankful for any help.
Regards
Patrick
