GTA Reunion / Alfa only Wheel to Wheel Race

To all GTA "tifosis" and owners:

A fanatic group of Alfisti racing enthusiasts invites you to participate in a special “Wheel to Wheel Race” on June 19th (4PM – 8PM) at the Autobahn Country Club in Joliet, IL. Expect over 40 racing Alfa Romeos to gather for this Historical event. Two (2) separate Groups with 20 minute qualifying sessions, then a 50-minute handicapped Enduro Race. This race date has been specifically coordinated to work in conjunction to the AROC 2008 National Convention in Chicago.

There is no such thing as, Tifosis. If you mean, certifiable lunatics who wear red and yellow underwear with black little horses and wave big flags at Monza, it is Tifosi.

Also, as the first (to my knowledge) woman posting a thread on the GTA/GTAm/GTAjr section, I say welcome, Signorina.

Davide

Santo cielo !

A thousand pardons. But he signed off as L'Alfista, which is for female fans of Alfa cars.

Had he signed off as L'Alfisto the mistake would never have been made.

Mea culpa,

Davide

Caro-caro David

I'm L'Alfista that spoke to you today. with 48 hr. superbowl gruf and all. Don't worry, it's a common mistake non Italians make in assuming all words ending in a's are feminine in meaning. The word "Alfisto" does not exist unless we owned "Alfo Romeo's".

By the way, I'm the Alfista to the left. The good looking person is my wife Graziella. Looking forward to having you and your GTA in Chicago this June.

Exclamation

Anthony:
It looks like both #95 & #331 are still available for the BIG RACE!...
#95 has a ligit connection with the Rimicci Bros/CHT GTA, as it was the number carried at the Monterey Historics by your car.
Your car carried # 33 only in an SCCA Willow Springs driver's school and two Calclub regionals and one Calclub 4th of July National Double Weekend... (entered in one race in B Sedan and another as B Sports Racing... finishing first in both events!)
FYI... in the Double National at RIR (where Charlie was running to complete the required races for his FIA/Pro racing license for Trans-Am eligibility)... I held up a pit sign on lap #2 saying "+22.0 EZ!" No wonder we were cocky when we joined the TransAm trail! This was RIVERSIDE !

Two of these cars (#3 & #93) have already signed up! Help me find the other two. Please enjoy the poster. I know that both Roman & Dr. Martinez will.
