RHD GTA pictured in 1st edition of AR Buyers Guide

The attached pic is of page 103 of Benson's 1st Edition, 1983, of the AR Buyers Guide. I believe it is miss captioned as a GTAj.

Anyone have more info on this RHD GTA.

Regards

Ken

Good call. It is/was Al Cortes's RHD GTA, and not a Jr. I saw at at Riverside Raceway many times back in the '80s at AROSC time trials. It was one of 3 RHD GTA's in Southern California at the time.

I've spoken about the car with Al numerous times in the past. He's told me the car is an old Trans Am car, but never knew who raced it. The car is now in Japan.

Last time I asked him, he didn't remember. Next time I see him I'll ask if he has pictures of it when he owned it. From the way everyone talks about the car, it was a really nice one.
