This GTAm is currently up for sale, anyone have information about this car?

Price?

VIN?

Is the provenance correct?

The sale description follows:

This particular car was bought in 1973 by Swiss privateer Jean-Pierre Rochat, who took the car to AutoDelta in 1974 to have it officially converted into a full-race GTAm to correct specifications and with the correct parts.

Mr. Rochat then raced this car throughout 1974, 1975 and 1976 at various race-tracks in Italy, France and Germany in the 2 litre class.

In 1976 Mr. Rochat sold this car to somebody from Bern who took the car to America for racing. Later the car ended up in Germany.
In 1993 it was sold to a Dutch collector.
The car was then used in historic racing in Holland for several years.
Presently the car is in very good racing-condition and a correct 2 litre Balduzzi GTAm engine with Spica injection has just been rebuild and fitted to the car again.

Simon

You might want to slide this Thread over to the new GTA / GTAm section.

Chassis # is listed as 1530037 so I'm told.
Where does this fit in with the US model years?
Simon, new GTA/GTAm section?
Vince.

1968 according to Amici & Tabucchi.

BTW, has anybody ever thought of making a replica GTAm style valve cover to replace the angular looking one on the twin spark head. It would make that late twin-spark head much more tasty looking on the old cars, though it may also have the effect of sprouting more replicas.

If the car is a 105.51, that would make it a VERY early 69. Perhaps built in Feb of 69 as mine was built in march with a S/N of 1530324.

Alleggerita (the book) shows the range of VIN's that were dedicated to GTAm's - anybody have this info handy?

Last car's picture posted above is surely a replica.

The car being sold by Marcel is missing a lot of original interior parts as well as other original items.
