Vic,
Hows it going man? Been a while! Afraid i'm not going to be making it down to South Africa for the Zwartkops races this year, just too busy up here! Besides, the new engine isn't ready and yesterday I decided to tear out all the inside of the car to start again and make it look nicer - so I have opened a whole can of worms with making a new race loom, plumbed extinguisher etc etc... think I may have just added a month of weekends to the re-build!
Best of luck at the races and let me know how you get on! I'm really going to make the effort to come down for next year... and take on Clive!
Max

Hi Vic
I'll definitely look out for you and your son. What sort of times were you doing around Zwartkops?
Hi Max
You're going to miss out big time this weekend. Make sure you're on the tip of Africa for next years event, we would love to have you here. In case you're still interested that rust free BMW with slight Impala damage is still for sale...ha ha.

Hi Max,
As you can see I have been pretty busy,
I will run my new car in the Trans Am series here I am not too certain if it will be eligable for pre 66 since I am on full slicks, Ill check it out with the powers that be controlling historics in this country.
Ill send you a pic mabee you can post it just to show it is a serious GTA replica.
Regards,
Vic

Hi Vic
What times were you doing around Zwartkops in your GTA replica last weekend?
I think you might have a problem running on slicks in both pre 66 and trans am pre 72. As far as I understand it, both series require "road legal" tyres.
I'd love to see some pictures of your car. I've had no problem posting pics on the BB in the past, so if you want to e-mail them to me I'll gladly post them on the BB on your behalf. I'll private message my e-mail address to you.

Vic, she's beautiful, a real compliment to your skills and commitment to the project! You must be a happy dad! I guess you used the narrow body car you sent me pics of? Can you send a couple to my work e-mail for my website please!
Best of luck!

Good luck for tomorrow, Vic. I'll definitely come 'round and say "howzit". When do you expect to race your new car for the first time?
