Nice GTAm. Seems to ahve the smaller road wheel options. I have noticed that all orig. GTAm's have a special Tachometer, they are very rare. Myabe also found in a 33 Stradale, but not sure.

Any thought on how is possible to shorten the stroke with the same standard crankshaft, i.e. without the need of getting a specific crank?

camcar77?
Dear all,
Earlier this year camcar77 and myself made contact via the buletin board.
I have a fairly large collection of GTA/GTAm bits and camcar77 reserved some of these items. He promised to send me some photographs and items in exchange for items he wanted. He kept on missing deadlines and sending incorrect photographs. I subsequently gave him my contact details and we had some long telephonic discussions in which he confirmed what he wanted from me and what he would send.
I was a little concerned about his previous performance and I agreed to send him a 'limited item'. After receiving nothing from him, as promised, i became a little concerned. I contacted a friend in Canada and he advised me that he had had similr problems with camcar77.
To cut a long story short - camcar77 seems to have disappeared without trace.

That's very interesting because I sold him a 1750 series 1 tail light, and have never heard whether he got it or not. I got the money I asked, but he apparently had sent me a sump in exchange ... which I never received, so we moved to money.
Hope he is okay, and I also hope the tail light is being used for what it is intended.

GTAm....on another note
Speaking of GTAm's....
Does anyone have access to one that can:
1) Provide close of pics of the brake calipers
2) Provide dimensions of brake calipers
I realize they are unobtainium, but I have heard rumors that early BMW (320?) calipers were similar or early Porsche calipers were similar.
I have a replica in the works and have the 13x8 GTAm wheels. Because it will be a vintage race car, it is important to have period correct (2 piston) calipers that will fit in within the wheel / suspension package. Any info would be appreciated and I would be happy to share my ultimate findings.....

you can always fit the 75/Milano Brembo calipers. They came on V6, Turbo and Twin Spark versions...
They're 2 pot and lightwheight. To fit them you need the small 105 upright and big (2000 ou 1750) brake rotors or discs...

The problem with the BMW 4 pot calipers is they're wheight. They power of the BMW brakes is bigger due to the size of the pad and the extra calipers but the wheight 400gr more each caliper...
I have those calipers installed on my car. Check out my website.
http://jpvale0.no.sapo.pt
The english version is still incomplete (actualy the hole page is still under construction... )
The portuguese version has the conversion explained...
http://jpvale0.no.sapo.pt/Junior_rep...ds_travoes.htm
To mount these calipers you need the bigger (2000 and 1750) uprights.
I'll try to write the english version as quickly as possible...

JT,
Here are the facts.
The factory/Autodelta solution was the ATE one-piece aluminum caliper (which is the same unit used on early 911 Porsche 'S' cars) and special bracket. They are a fortune.
The wheels used on the GTAm were normally 13 inches x 7, 8, 9 or 10 inches wide. To use 13 inch wheels on a 105
chassis, different mounting brackets and/or lower profile brake calipers were needed for the wheels to clear the brakes.
