It was decided that stainless steel Allen head screws were a better option then rivets when installing the mesh. Also, a few months back we modified the nose of the grill so we could install the mesh flush. The mesh units available are nice but they have to be twisted on the ends and they have a forward tilt to them once installed. This looks odd. So we made modification for the end results you see.

We had replacement plexi made for the side windows. So it was time to clean aluminum frames and install the glass.

And the rear quarter window was checked for proper fitting.

One thing I really like about rivets, especially on race cars ... is you never have to worry about them working loose.

Love them.

We are just about done with the car. Aja, is blocking the clear coat. I have modified the door latches so the GTA door buttons will work and tomorrow we will bolt in the new race seat. Monday we will buff the car and finish the decal work.

Well the bullet is heading home to the Boston area on Saturday. Jay and I are putting the hours in to get it done in time for the truck to pick it up. The window slider, stainless steel hardware and loose end will be on by the end of the day tomorrow.
