775860 - yes GTAJ, must have been from my dad - thats where I grew up as a kid! Those wood doors continued round our courtyard on 3 sides.... room for 30 cars! I have memories of coming back from boarding school for the holidays and spending hours opening up each door to find different 105's inside everytime, always a few GTAs and many GTVs, GTJs, Spiders etc.... think I caught a bug somewhere back then.....

776106 - i think hugh tompkins bought and then sold it to a guy in southern california and then bought his race car.

anybody know where it is now??

that elise is a very sweet car. unfortunately i could never fit in to one but they look awesome. i didn't think they were available in the us until just recently. did you import the 2000 by yourself?

my brother has an old elan in pieces all over my parents garage and has always been a big lotus fan.

Yes, I imported it myself when I transferred from Italy to the US. I purchased it new while I was stationed in Naples Italy where it was my daily driver. I imported it here as a race car, it is not street legal, makes me cry...

I don't want to mess this post up with my pics, so here is a link to some pics of my Lotus Elise.
