15" GTA wheels simulation

As all of you know, new 15" GTA rims will be avaliable soon.

Personally, It's something that I've been waiting for; i think it's the best fit, as Giulias Coupes were originally designed considering that wheel diameter.

Performance is another history, but just look at this mock up, using a Junior with 14" GTA rims (195/70) as reference (great photo!, I think the owner is member of alfa bb)

Cheers!

It's a hugely impressive project, and I have a lot of admiration for Max and the team for getting this underway and producing a wheel which is still good value. I'm sure that a lot of people won't care that the GTA wheel was never originally offered in 15" - but I would have loved to have seen this early Ti Super stradale wheel made too (more versatile from an aesthetic viewpoint because wheel caps can also be fitted), however the GTA wheel could be stronger and perhaps more suited to a wider date range of cars. Maybe one day!

My Giulia Super had a big, black Vitaloni like that fitted to it when I bought it. Needless to say, it didn't last long.

I think those 15" wheels will look great on GTs, and I agree that the ti-Super wheel would be nice to see a bit more often. They are purposful, but very elegant at the same time.

How wide are the 15-inch GTA wheels going to be?

14" performance tires seem to be a thing of the past and models are dropping off fast.

Yeah, I got that Vitaloni on my 1974 2000 GT Veloce back in the 80's too. Was really in fashion then (central part painted in the body colour), but indeed not now! I go for the nice round chrome thing now as everybody else.

Nice photshop El Leci! I think you aren't too far away with how it will look. As soon as I get the first preproduction wheels for final signing off later this month, I will get them straight on my car for some photo work, then you will see for real how sexy they look! Judging from the prototype resin wheels we made at the beginning of the year, they will look awesome, much better suited to the cars than the 7x14" and the extra 1" diamter also wears the design styling better as well. Starting to get very excited now!

p.s. yes 'Low Mileage' the whole drastic withdrawl of 14" performance tyres from the marketplace was what spured the project on!
