Damn that aluminium hood look so perfect. I can't belive it was hand made.
I'm sure your car will came out nice.

Your wheels look nice........where do do get it from? What size of wheel and tire combo are you running?
The round hole really look similar to the original GTAm.....and those deep dish look awesome.

Custom Made GTAm wheels

I know if I show this wheel will create some interest, but to be honest with all of you the modification I made in this is not for the fainthearted.
Enjoy, Zafar

Holy crap I've never seen such a modified wheel.
Do you have closeups of the hub, internally and externally? The material seems to be uniform.
Thanks

Yes, it was quite extensive and the good part of living in my country is you can have these kind of modifications made at a reasonable price.
A simplified explanatian of the process is as follows:
1. skim about 50% the thickness of the outside part of the 'face'
2. machine a new face made of alloy billet and insert on top of the skimmed face
3. weld the the insert from both inside and out
4. weld in alloy pegs into the old holes
5. drill new holes following the AR pattern.
I have not tested this on the road (since the car is still in progress) but I hope it can cope with the load of the car.
Cheers, Zafar

Very nice work, although some may consider it highly dangerous to alter the original integrity of the wheel.
However it seems as though the work was done effectively and precisely.
I've heard of people shot-peening the welded areas to reduce future stresses when they weld holes shut to redrill a new pattern. Were any post-modification processes carried out?
Impressive stuff.

The seat is done and was sent over to the body shop today.
Rush to the body shop to take a look.
After a close inspection, I'm very very....happy with the workmanship.
It came out just the way I want it to be.
