the promised pics... had some trouble resizing the pics, way too big, but now a little small... try again..
the inside lockmachanism is left hand, the inside pic is the right door. that tab needs a little bending to be perfect. When you compare this with an unmidified mechanism you will see what has to be done. on the pic inside the door you will see the tab is turned to the left.

Good pictures, Veep- very informative.
Especailly for those of us who might try to DYI the pusher using parts from a Giulia (don't ask, just dreaming). But the GTA set up I've seen are pricy- know of a reasonalbe source?
IMHO, I think those look better than the stock ones- yet another reason to do it.

My front was damaged and now i'm trying to give it the original shape. The top plate was bend. I've managed to get it in shape resonable, but i would like to have the original messurements of the innersection (where the grille is placed). Can someone who has an original front messure the inner parts for me next to the headlights and in the middle. Thx.
I've used the drawing to make the holes for the door knops perfect !

cheapo gta buttons...
You might find that some old VW glovebox buttons are pretty close, and available new for about $12
I have no first hand evidence though, and I don't want to be responsible when the purists find out.

sonoveloce:
I have similar sway bar to what you seem to have. About 1" can't remember though, three piece aluminum, square ends, like the red picture. Got it in the late '80s from Shankle.

Rik i've got a lot of work for customers so the man who does all my paintjobs will do that for me, i do some technical work for his car as well.
You could have done it for me too i know. But i think you are busy yourself and i would have to drive a lot further with the car and then to the painter as well.
