Giulia coupe and vert coming (supposedly)

Just hope they come with a manual option; the lack of one took the Giulia sedan off the table for me.

We'll Reportedly See the Alfa Romeo Giulia Coupe Very Soon

Agree. If that were to happen, I'd have to look at trading in my F-Type - which I bought because I wanted an entertaining RWD sports coupe - with a stick. It's a good, fun car, but it's not an Alfa.

Hmmm...I also read that they may be showing this Giulia coupe at Geneva next month. Considering what they did with the Giulia QV and pulling the manual at the last minute, I would not hold my breath that Alfa will offer a manual in this coupe in the US. While the current generation BMW 4 series still offers manuals, the new 2018 Audi S5 will be auto only (the A5 will still have the manual) and the Mercedes Benz C Class coupe is auto only as well as the Lexus and Infiniti 'whatever they are calling their coupes these days'

M...Im not sure where the pessimism comes form with some of you(no offense). So far, manual transmission aside, they are doing what they say. Good businesses adjust to the markets in a fluid manner. Why would they NOT build a coupe and spider? They've always had them in their line ups.

And look, the Giulia took a long time, but the results are undeniable. They are getting incredible reviews everywhere, in fact the darling BMW 3M is now behind the Q.

Honestly, who the hell would've thunk it 2 years ago!!! I think most Alfisti would've been okay with a good second place behind the bimmer.

Food for thought-lets be positive.

@howndog....First off...I would call myself an optimist...who put his money where his mouth was and actually stayed with Alfa for 1.5 years of waiting after constant delays (which were okay) what was not good for ANY company to say one thing and do another especially when you are looking to re-establish yourself in a market...again no manual did not make me flake...no instead I purchased the QV.
I am not an "Afisti" as many here as this is my very first Italian car....but I am a fan of the brand since being a little boy in Italy....who didn't want a Carabinieri Blu Super? otherwise I would not have bought one...
My comment was just that....I will believe it when I see a production model.....if you follow the car news coming out of Europe...Alfa was also saying they were going to produce a touring version on the Giorgio platform...which frankly would make sense to me as Tourings are very popular still in Europe...now they changed their mind??? Point...say " we are exploring"..."we are considering the possibility"...don't say "we are" and then don't....not a good way to build trust with new clients....rant over
Regards
M
