Great day and perfect weather. This was the first alfa club event I have attended (no alfa on the road yet, but I am now a club member) and I was very impressed with the quality of the cars and the fact that many of the cars had scrutineering stickers on them so they were enjoyed. Now has 258 miles on it since I got it 4 years ago. Lots of restoration time. New rockers, floors, and everything else. Had a great trip buzzin' through Atlanta traffic.

First is my 83 GTV-6. Kind of a before picture actually, as its now currently undergoing new paint...should look sweet in its new metallic grey :cool:

Next, my 89 Milano Verde. My first Alfa, and since I have done a complete teardown. Car now rides an upgraded suspension all around, redone brakes, and a mildly upgraded engine, as well as lots of other stuff in places you can't see:D

last is my newest acquisition, the 87 Verde. It was so cheap, how could I not. Everything somehow has survived Alfa-itus and still works, even the A/C. Even being in Canada, you still hardly ever see actual metric (Canadian) version Verdes ever, so kind of cool.

A few e-mails and some word-of-mouth brought out the following motley crew:

Alfa Giuliettas (all Spiders, white/red/silver/black) x 4
Alfa 86 Spider x 1
Porsche 356 x 3
Porsche 911 x 2
Ferrari Dino x 1
Ferrari 308 GTS x1

All we needed was an M-B 300SL or some British iron.

We had lots of fun during the 100-mile route, but no one bothered to take pictures, spending their time instead rowing their gear levers. We ended the drive at Alice's restaurant (we started in Los Gatos) where we had lunch with about 200 race and Harley bikers. No brawls that I could tell.
