Hi guys,

I have a late series Alfa 33 (the one in the picture ) and have upgraded it with 15" alloys taken from an Alfa 145 cloverleaf. My problem is that when i take it out for a spin and go round a sharp corner with some speed the rear wheel scrapes the inner wheel arc lip.

My shocks and spring are standard.

A fund raising track day is just a few weeks away and i do not want this problem to be as a handicap for me.

Do you have any suggestions on what i could do ? and any tweaks i could do to have max performance ?

I've toyed with the settings before. Stifened all round max. Result almost undrivable. Rear snaps very quickly. Ended up setting the rear back to standard and stiffen up max on the front. Result is very sharp turn in and excellent ballance around corners.

Like to hear how u guys set it. For me the conventional "stiffen up rear to reduce understeer" definately doesn't work for me.

I replaced my distributor rotor arm today with and unknown black unit. It's an interesting find that the unit limits the rev @6k rpm. Unfortunately I use the engine beyond that. Has anyone tried disabling the rev cut before? The part that extends out that's spring loaded. I thought of using high temp silicone to restrict it's movement.

Any thoughts?

All,

I have made a website about the Alfasud Giardinetta. The target is to put as much information as possible on this site. Also including information about the survivors and the destroyed vehicles including chassis numbers, colours, photos and other information. This website is still under construction and therefore not all sections are fully functional yet, but a start has been made.

This is basically a request to (previous) Giardinetta owners all over the world to complement my website with their information. Are you a (previous) owner and are you willing to share some information to make the website more interesting and more complete, please send me a PM.

Nieuwe pagina 2

Hi everyone,
this is my new customized front lip for my 33 Imola. After trying lots of different models and spending time thinking we went for this one. The lip is hand made from a friend of mine and the same one is fixing my fog lights today (they will be also customized)
The car is going soon for all bodywork and total repaint so do not do any comment about the paint conditions lol:D:D:o:p
Here are some pics, and later some with the fog lights installed...

opened for suggestions and comments::D
