Hi Everybody,

does anybody of you have photos of this particular car, class winner Division 1, driven by Picchi / Chasseuil ? I would prefer colour photos that I could use for making a scale model car, but even b/w photos are highly appreciated. I already found a few photos in the net, but none from the front ( with or without license plate ) and none of the rear. I know that there was a large label on the trunk hood, but on my photos I cannot read anything on such label ( maybe it reads "Circuit Paul Ricard" same as the body side label ).

Thanks for your help in advance and kind regards from Germany

Horst Kwech Bio on Wikipedia

I always thought that Horst Kwech deserved a biography on Wikipedia documenting all of his accomplishments. Here is a start toward a bio that still needs editing including more detail on his races in Australia. He raced for Shelby in 1969 as well as 1968 and his Center Seat Can-Am history is missing but as I said its a start.

The B-Side Famous Alfa Drivers!

So, we all know the big names in Alfa Romeo's racing history; drivers like the "Ari" brothers (Campari, Ascari, Nuvolari) :D, as well as the "Ini" brothers (Larini, Naninni etc.) I thought however that it would be fun and interesting to research, highlight and talk about some of the other greats that made the back-page behind the wheel of an Alfa Romeo!

Arguably, my knowledge of drivers-past is somewhat limited and bias towards South African drivers that some of you may never have even heard of, but that would be part of the fun then (learning about what was out there and posting some old fotos of drivers and cars)! I remember as a boy watching guys like Glen Gibbons bring the crowds to their feet in the Glenwood Motors GTV6 monster-creations of Dawie de Villiers at Zwartkops Raceway, WesBank and at the old Kyalami Formula One track!

So, let's see what you guys have! How about Alan Esterhuizen's Giulietta turbo with so much negative camber and tire and fender-flare that it looks like something from an east-LA low-rider caricature! Here's Glen with Dawie's Ultimoil GTV6.
