Wasn't the Volvo P1800 a Michelotti design?

Volvo 1800 information, specifications, history, and images. High Resolution, Wallpapers, Destop Images.
Volvo had attempted a sports car model which they dubbed the P1900. It was short lived. After less than 70 examples were produced, production ceased due to financial decisions. Volvo then tasked Helmer Patterson to acquire designs from Italian firms. Four designs came from Italian firms and one from his son Pelle. The design that was chosen by Volvo was Pelle's design. Frua was tasked at building a prototype while Pelle assisted in the development.

What's next? BMWs with Pirelli tires? Nissans with Michelins?
Anyway, it was a great show

Any Alfa 6c2500s show up? Any Etceterinis other than the Fiat 8V Zagato?
Love that Lago-Talbot and Facel Vegas showed up.

No, no 2500's, and also no 1900's Where were the ones from previous years? One SZ Coda Tronca, which was nice to see.
Yes, I believe the 2600 berlina was Daniel Cytryonwicz's car. Still daydreaming about it...
Non-alfa wise, I was smitten by the Lancia Flamminia berlina.

I liked the Volvos
Hi gang,
I thought the Volvo P 1800 contingent was great. They had a variety of years represented and some were really sharp. I enjoyed talking with their enthusiastic group about those beautiful designs.
Props to those with Alfas, truly spectacular turnout.
Only saw one Abarth variant, a Fiat Abarth 850 TC replica. Will have to up that next year.

Does anyone know who owns this car? The '8 plugs' license plate really piqued my curiosity. I was hoping to find the owner and have him show the engine.

I was interested as well, I have seen that car at the Wheels and Waves show in Santa Barbara.

But in addition to the OttoVu Zagato, there was a Fiat Moretti coupe and an OSI 20M coupe (OK, not pure Italian).

Moretti photos please

It was the first time I saw that car and I was quite curious to see if it really had a twin plug motor. Once I took a closer look, I saw the actual car was far from the real deal.

Yes Frua but the irony is that most of those cars were actually put together in Ireland...

That Moretti was one of my favorite cars at the show. Here's another picture of it.
Unless you see it in the "flesh" you won't understand just how small it is. From a distance it looks a lot like a Fiat Dino. Up close, it looks like a Dino that shrunk in the wash.

Who smuggled the Lancia Integrale into CA? More importantly, HOW!?? I've been wanting to do that for years!
