Head Gasket question alfa romeo spider 76

hi I rebuilt my cylinder head before to put the cylinder casket .need to now how to pud the o ring seal tank you.

when I ordered the full casket set from IAP. I saw to many o rings but I have to use the 6 o ring for the cylinder head and what is the rolled pins can you help me. thank you for the help

IAP sell them too. They fit into the oil passages as shown in the photos. Go to the Spider technical subsection and search for "roll pins" and "head gasket replacment". You will find plenty of answers. Also see IAP Kit Part # 66107: Alfa Romeo, Fiat and Lancia Gaskets

A closer look at the roll pins, which explains why they are call roll pins. the picture also show where they go. Six in total.

Hi Rich, on thread #3 photo#2, I see you have put some sealent on top of the gasket, did you also put some on the bottom of the gasket.
What type of gasket sealent did you use. I assume you added more sealent and spread around after taken that picture.

Hi Giorgio,

I used Aluminum RTV Silicone Instant Gasket on top of the gasket where you see it only and on the bottom too. But only where you see it, the rest of the gasket has it one sealant, that is the dark line you see in the gasket is the, lets say the "built in sealant". I only applied the silicone to the spot where the "built in" sealant wasn't there. I think the built in sealant cooks on and makes a seal when the engine heats up.
