Source for piston pins?

Does anyone know who might sell piston pins alone for the standard (AE Federal Mogul) replacement 1750 piston and liner sets? I had to put my rebuild project on hold for several months and the piston pins from the new piston/liner set rusted severly while in storage. I don't want to have to buy a new set and am reluctant to reuse the old pins although that might be the best solution.

International Auto Parts has them. They need to be press fitted and honed to size.

Have you considered using a rust converter like Evaporust or Picklex?

Measure and inspect the old pins. If the mic up to specs and their outward apperance is good, clean them and use the old ones.Good luck

Thanks for the attempts to help. IAP sells pin bushings but not pins. The new pins rusted very deeply even though they were rewrapped in rush preventive paper it was apparently no match for Maryland's humidity. Rust converter or simply cleaning up the rust just won't cut it. Alfa parts exchange is a good idea, but luckily George Willet saw my posting in the wanted section of this forum and generously volunteered a used set from his collection. My rebuild project will soon be back on track. Thanks George.
