Where did I say that? Typical "interpretation" based on some self serving stance I assume, similar to the Liberal`s need to "Interpret" our Constitution which is written in concise English!
The JUNK cams are what we were saddled with in the USA. The 10548-01 cam was only the stock cam for the ROW. An old high overlap cam that has it`s place, but not as a performance cam which is what I wrote. The high overlap design is particularly un-helpful on the exhaust side (as I wrote)...
Lots of people here run combinations of stock US, Euro, Centerline, and a host of other brand cams with good results.
The trick is to find the combination that gives you what you are looking for.
On my 1750 motor, a Sperry 11.1 intake and a 10548 exhaust gives a very good power and torque for street driving. Well mannered.
For race, get race parts.
you can try. opinios differ on the subject. for a street car lots of torque is nice (for racing too btw) I like the torque delivery of the RJR cams.
