According to a product search on the Bosch Classic web site (see here), the Bosch parts number for the distributor cap ("Verteilerkappe") is 1 235 522 058.

Yes, you may have the wrong part. The pictures on the Bosch web site show the difference:

First, 1 235 522 058:

...then, 1 235 522 056, used on several Alfa engines (e.g. 164, 33, 75, Arna, Alfasud, etc. -- the list of applications on the Bosch site is quite long) from about 1974 onward:

...and this is 1 235 522 059, as discussed below:

I added the picture for 1 235 522 059 in my post above (visually, it seems to be the same picture as for 1 235 522 058 -- but with a different name). The Bosch web site says it was for a "JFRX 4 (R)" distributor with Bosch number 0 231 177 001 (originally made for the CITROEN DS 21), with a resistor built into the rotor. Since the rotor is different, you may want to check if the cap looks the same inside, or if the contact finger has slightly different dimensions. Unfortunately, I could not find any information about the rotor (neither Bosch number nor dimensions) on the Bosch web site. Still, the fact that the 058 and 059 caps are listed separately (and were never replaced with a single number) would indicate that there must be at least some difference between them.

According to Bosch, the 059 cap was used on the following cars:

CITROEN DS 21 E 92KW/ 125PS 2.2l 09.1970 - 08.1972
CITROEN DS 23 Injection 93KW/ 126PS 2.3l 09.1972 - 07.1975

On the photo ,058 has a "half circle" cut out on the rim - against the distributor. 059 dosen't have this. The rotor looks like a standard type. googling photos of distributors , many seem to have a Bosch badge with #, mine just has the nr stampt on the side. Heres a photo :

Hi,

on Facet catalog the distributor cap 2.7476PHT is equivalent to Bosch 1235522058 and 1235522059 and 1235522050.
I buy my cap in old shop.

Someone knows where to find spare parts for distributors like springs etc?
Thanks

Jacky
