How many TS conversions out there?
There have been several articles on the Twin Spark 2.0L conversion for 105/115 Spiders and GTVs. I'm wondering how many owners of these cars are on the BB?

What about a box for "pray to Santa that some day this will happen"?

You bet they count! But my lame-brained little survey evidently can't be edited, so you'll have to use the "write-in ballot." So, do you have a sedan that's already been converted, or are you working on a project? I think a Super with a Twinspark would be amazing -- talk about a wolf in sheep's clothes! How about some pics?

The project is a long story (aren't they all). The car is a '67 Super that was a barn find back in 1996. It was purchased in 1968 by a dealer salesman, driven until 1971 and stored for 20+ years until I bought it in LA in '96.
I have a TS head from a 75 on a conventional 2L block. The head is ported and polished with custom 13mm lift cams and locked VVT. It has custom made JE flat-top pistons 12:1 CR. The head studs have been relieved to bolt onto the shorter 2L head studs.
The motor was running at one point but failed on the run stand and is in the process of being rebuilt again. The car is in primer and has been for a while. The body shop doing the work went under and I went through hell trying to retrieve it. It's now in my garage and awaiting my time to get to work on it.
It has a full cage, a Ward & Dean suspension and 4.56 LSD waiting to go in. I'll be running it in VSCDA Vintage series here in the Midwest. The rules are somewhat loose. Since Alfa had a twin-plug motor in the era ('67) they'll let it in as an overbored 1600 twin-plug. The downside is I'll have to run carbs to be compliant with the period induction rules. I've radiused the rear fenders to fit larger tires in.
The project predates resonable priced digital cameras so the only pictures I have are film. I'll scan them one day.

As you can see from my signature, I've done two. The '69 has the original Motronic FI and is used on the street, the '65 is carburated version and is used on the track. And I have another engine core awaiting a home. I'm just not sure what to do with it. Decisions, decisions ... what's a guy to do?

I keep thinking that a Berlina with the TS and air conditioning would make a perfect daily driver!

I've completed 3 swaps, 2 spiders and a 1 berlina. I have a GTV and a spare TS engine so I will probably swap the GTV as well in the future.

Kelly, yours was the car I was thinking of when I suggest a Berlina. It seems a natural fit. As would an Alfetta Sedan w/ A/C and all the creature comforts.
BTW, that guy never got back to me on that Alfetta from months ago. Any idea if he still has it. Winter here in Chicago and a beater would be nice.

Berlina? With A/C? Interesting idea. I know where there's a very good chassie with all the bright work and glass. Still, for local travel I really like my GTV and if I really need to cover some ground, I'd probably opt for the Dodge 2500 HO Cummins. It just seems to command a certain level of respect that no Alfa will ever get from the road rage crowd. If I do a Berlina, does someone want to buy it? Er, I mean WILL someone buy it? We're talking blank canvas here.

IMO, the Berlina is a totally underrated Alfa. But I'm a sedan freak if you couldn't tell from the Verde and the Super and wanting to get into another Alfetta SS.
Berlina prices are on the rise and they should reach Giulia Sedan territory in the not-too-distant future. The days of the cheap beater Berlina are gone.
A TS Berlina would be a great daily driver. In case of road rage, just floor it!

and another one here....
...just no pics....
will try later.
I've the complete AC lying around, just not enough time to put it in!
Running injection, Liquid Propane Gas, great ICE, lowered, cool wheels, one 1972 2000 Berlina.
Absolutely great daily driver!!!
Blu Olandese, tinted glass, fresh light tan interior, towbar, and lots of mods to the engine. Around 170 Hp, so obligatory Autodelta tags on front fenders....

Alfetta TS
This is my Alfetta TS. Now we tried to make the compression up to 11:1 with the original 2.0 nord engines rods.
And here in Hungary we have another TS conversation, a GTV from '83 have also a TS engine....
