Yes, the sound alone made the second video worth the 'price of admission'.
However...am I the only person in the world who (occasionally) watches videos on the Internet as they jerk (go, stop, go, stop, etc.) to the finish? I find it amazing that people can actually watch (full length) movies on their computers.
Sorry about the off topic comment.

Biba,
I'm another one whose high speed connection isn't fast enough to view many videos non-stop . . . but if you pause the player until the progress bar shows that most of the video is loaded, you'll be able to watch without interruption.

More than anything, it is the amount of gearbox technology in this race that just blows me away! Listen to that orange 2002 again!

How about here: WBo2 Oxygen Sensors ?
It isn't $178, but it's $100 AU less than what you've found, and it's on your side of the world.
HTH and keep up the great work.

yeah I found that one near the start of my project, what a weapon of a car. I could not remember what it was called, so thanks for putting it up...pure inspiration!

A bit of an update for you all.
The fuel tank has now been cut and shut with a custom drop tank section. The wastegate flange has also been partially completed to reposition the turbosmart gate. These two tasks have been completed by a mate of mine down here since my time with the new baby has been somewhat limited. I'm keen to progress the build so Rick has been kindly pitching in, he's a weapon with a welder.
Photos to follow on those items in the next day or so.
I've been progressing with the oxy alloy stick welding. I am happy with the welds being stong and air tight, still practicing on the finsh so that they look perfect. Trying to avoid hours with files and buffing compound!!
In the mean time I've been trying to get some sponsorship. As the avid readers will know I've been using Wolf EMS computers for all my past builds and intend to do so on this build as well as their computers represent exccellent bang for buck and really do pack a lot into their gear. As such, I approached them for sponsorship the otherday, and while the details are still being discused, I am hopefull to be able to do something with them, so watch this space....But heres a sneak peak of a flyer that has been sent their way to wet the appetite.
If their is a company out there that might be interested in sponsoring the project, I'd love to hear from them, evey new sponsor allows me to make the project that little bit more exciting.
Check it out:

A small update:
Wastegate has been fitted up into position with appropirate stainless bracket. I've also started on the drop tank for the fuel tank, making up small brackets to mount connetions to.
In the mean time, heres a pic of the wastegate mounted on its need bracket.

OK, I'm doing some digging around on water inejction kits and would like peoples advice on the limitations of this kit, and whether there is something people have seen out there that is at least as good, for less money. I'll buy this unit, but I would like peoples comments prior to doing so, even if its just to give me other webpages of water injection manufacturers.
All you guys in the USA, there must be heaps of companies pedalling good water injection kits with all the smog rules you have, come forth :-)
Heres the one I am looking at:
Aquamist suppliers
It does not appear to run two nozzles at the same time from what I can gather, whihc I was rather hoping it would. Its 644GBP, and unfortunately there is an AUS distributor which means I would get directed to the them for purchase...they hike it up to 1870 AUD....thats about 1500USD at the moment, which I feel is pretty steep.
Thoughts?
Oh update: I have decided I DO have to cut a section of the tunnel for the gear linkage and have begun doing this. The rear of the front floor where it meets the front of the rear floor vertical gets a bit tight ot the isostatic arrangement. Also, if I wish to use the isostatic gearshift pivot linkage, it is longer by about 3.8 inch where it connects to the rod. This means the rod will need to have a kink up put in it to clear the crossmember, I could install the Alfetta GT shifter, but this would remove the increased picot and I feel would leave me with a dissapointing amount of hand movement when chaging gears.

This is the system I am currently using: Coolingmist Water Injection, alcohol injection and Methanol Injection systems . I really don't see how a water injection system could be any better. It's fully programmable without attaching it to a computer, it has a 250 psi pump, you can run as many nozzles as you want, etc. All of it's components are 100% methanol compatible (although there is no good reason to run a mix beyond 50/50). Best of all, the whole computer fits in a standard size gauge's hole. It displays boost, pump duty cycle, flow rate (via the lighted bar graph if you are using the flow sensor) or air temperature in the plenum. Oh, and all the hardware is top notch, push on connectors, nickel plating on a lot of the parts. The only issue I have is that it's very difficult to remove a nozzle without damaging it. Meaning everytime you want to change nozzle size, you end up wrecking a $20 nozzle. I really don't see a way around this though.
