All that engine in there and someone still blew your doors off? Keep up the good work.

Kevin,

Hmmm, gee that steering link is low ... me not getting the warm and fuzzies ...

Could you instead cut the bellhousing so the steering link was able to be straight or straighter and also up out of rock/etc. way?

Just thinking ... and yeah otherwise looking real good .
Pete

Been a while... Took a 3 week trip to the Philippines and China.
Great people, and beautiful countrys, to bad the dollar is so
weak seemed like I was paying US prices or more
for most goods.

Got the exhaust installed at San Pedro Muffler. They are very
helpful, and willing to do custom stuff. They really did a nice job
installing the system. I had them use 2 1/4" pipe, and used the
stock Honda S2000 resonator and cat. I decided to go with a
Magnaflow muffler. I did not like the way a slip on tip looked
on the muffler output, so I will get some stainless tube and
have it bent to look like the stock angled tip, then weld it
on myself. I also wanted to make sure the tip will not interfere
with the rear bumper.

Here's a couple of pics, and will post a Utube video with the sound.

s2000 engine dimensions

I did a search but I didn't get any returns,

Do you have the dimensions for the s2000 engine? I am basically looking for shifter to front of bellhousing, and from bellhousing to front of engine dimensions.

Thanks a million,

Nathan

Cars and kids

Keven, I've managed to not contribute for 24 pages in this thread. But a big hearty congrats on your progress. My 9-year old "crew chief" got a big kick out of your son in the videos! Collin loves to run the throttle when I set the ignition timing on the race car. Even when my Dad and I failed to have other things in common, we had our love of sports cars. It's great when you can develop that with your own kid!

Erik

Little progress... I made a custom intake from 3" stainless turbo tube
with 45deg bend, drilled a few holes and tapped for vacuum tubes.
The stainess tube is attached to the motor's intake via a silicon
2.25" to 3" reducer. The reducer has a hole for the EGR pipe. And
finally I am using a K&N universal filter. The total price for all this
was $30 (tube) + $20 (reducer) + $40 (K&N) + $6 (for clamps) = $96
The fittings were free from work So why are the "cold" air intakes
online $300-600!!?
