Shortlife,

Let me know if you need to borrow my 10 deg reamer.
It really cuts nice tapers.

It's alive, it's alive!! I had a locksmith come out and re-flash
my ECM for the key I have, and it turned out on the first crank!
Sounded horrible, cause the header is not hooked up, but
ran real smooth (but load). I am seeting up my YouTube,
so will post a link to it running soon.

Up next header/exhaust, steering, and driveshaft.

That's great, Keven. It must be very encouraging to have it running. Any idea why the speedo seems to be keying off the tach?

The Speedo registers because the drive shaft is not hooked up yet,
and I was trying out the gears.

GTV-GR, I did not use the rear end of the S2000, looks like some
really major fitment issues, as well as structural mods to get the
correct mount points, and rigidity.

I just got the drive shaft back from the shop (Driveshaft Masters
in Harbor City). Man it's short! I also stripped down the rear section
to replace the u-joints. The front part is made by the stock S2000
drive shaft CV-joint, and welded to the Alfa front shaft with the
center support bearing. After checking if it all fits, I will take it
all into the driveshaft shop and have it all dynamically balanced.

As usual some pics for your enjoyment

Ok, got the new u-joints, center support bearing assembled, then
sent down to Driveshaft Masters to all be balanced. Then installed
it all. It was very hard to find the M9 bolts and nuts for the Alfa
shaft, I ended up ordering them from OKP in Germany (not cheap!).
The driveshaft all fit in perfectly. Now just need a custom steering
center link, and I can go on a test drive. Stay tuned, I'll post a
You Tube link when I drive it.

Shortlife, the "little shaft" is about 12" long.

Some pics of the driveshaft in the car...
