It's coming together really nice! Keep up the good work!
Just wanted to show you some pictures of a ongoing similar project i Sweden.
However, this is built more as a pure racecar, but still road legal.

Axe,
Looks excellent!! I like how the motor is mounted even further
back than mine! I thought of that as well, for handling, but had
other fitment issues. Who makes the header?
I wonder if our two GTV are the only ones with an s2000 conversion?
Or are there more lurking...

Thanks, Keven!
I bought the header from Germany, on E-bay. Really, really cheap...
Perhaps not the best there is, but I probably will remake it anyway, to get the correct pipe lenghts, the dyno will tell.
There will be some other modifications to the engine as well...
AEM ems, increased compression ratio, custom intake with ITB's, alu-flywheel, etc...
Picture of header and some other nice stuff:

Axe, very cool!
I have been fitting the signal and hedlight switch assembly to
the Alfa column. Looks like it will all work great, and even
cancel the turn signal when I turn the wheel. I had to do
some cutting, and key the switch assembly to the column.
I will be using a Nardi wheel.
Still waiting for the dash harness, when it's in, the instrument
surround and the s2000 guage cluster will be fitted. I think
that I will eventually make a custom fiberglass dash to smoothly
integrate it all.

Keven, your going to use the digital S2000 cluster? Man, that would be bad @$$!

Oldschool,
Yep, digital cluster. I tried real hard to kiiep it all analog a la "old School",
but getting all the analog guages to work with the S2000 senders/electronics
will be really expensive and complicated. Not sure if I will like the digital,
but will try it, and if I'm really not happy, I will bite the bullet, and go "retro.
Here's a few pics of the cluster gettting fitted...

you'd be surprised at how simple it is to make all the "stock" guages work with the engine..all youd need is the sensors from a alfa engine and some small brass fittings
not sure i could deal wtih the honduh dash

It sure is an ugly dash...
How hard can it be to make all the original gauges work? the only real problem are the speedometer since you have nowhere to connect the cable too. and the revcounter for the same reason. Just go aftermarket on these and fit them in the Alfa dash...
Please don''t use the Honda unit, you know you will regret doing it later....

 .
2000 dash is ugly anyway ... but still 150% better looking than that. All the Alfa dash measures is oil pressure, water temp, and revs ... hardly difficult to get working.

Had to rework the header tubes, I installed the steering idler box,
and it interfered. Here's a couple of shots of the new header
configuration. I still need to make the tube from the top collector
to the bottom. I might have a muffler shop bend this for me.
Then lots of welding...

Still waiting for the header to come back from the welder,
so I have been getting the steering sorted out. The S2000
tranny bellhousing is huge! I bought some adapters from
Speedway that drop the steering rod about 4". One problem
was that the Alfa rod ends have a taper of 5 degrees (my
calculation). And the Speedway drop links have a 10 degree
taper. So had to buy a special tapered reamer, and weld
an extension on my steering arms. When I installed it all,
the new hemi joint hit the lower A-arm cup. Removed the
cup, and it swings freely, but with very little clearance.
Now need to make a slightly bent steering connector rod
to tie it all together.
