Damn I used the Quick JB weld, it's what I had in the garage
Well, If I try to redo it, I will seriously bugger up the fitting!
I'll just have to go with it, and see what happnes. There's not
much force on the weld, since it's only holding the plastic
nozzle in the fitting.

Pastaman, I do live close to Redondo Beach. I am originally from the Bay
Area (Mtn View), and spent every summer driving to the beach
in Santa Cruz to boogie board, we used to love the nickel night at
the boardwalk, especially riding the "dipper". Good time...

Been working on the electrical system and harness the past
two weeks. I have bought most of the S2000 harness from
a junk yard, and have taken the time to label every connector.
This is a very painstaking task, as I have to use a S2000 electrical
manual and trace evey connector and its view, and verify that
the correct wire colors are present.

I have also bought an Odyssey PC680 battery and mount, and have
begun installing this. I am planning on running AWG#2 gauge wires
from the trunk to the main S2000 fuse box. Still debating if the
battery cables should run under the car, or in the cabin. The
battery is in the trunk. Also I will connect a battery disconnect
switch in the cabin for safety. The S2000 ECM is on a mount
I made, and is isolated for vibration using some rubber washers.

Here's a few pics...

in the past when ive done wireing swaps i useualy strip the wireing out of the harness....less refering to a wireing diagram is required..it also lets you remove all of the extra crap you dont want or need

that battery sure looks TINY!!! how big is it and what kind of CCA does it have?

the cables imo are better ran INSIDE of the car ..but this is asumeing you run them in an area where there are ZERO sharp items and AWAY from ALL other wireing...best bet is useualy down the tunnel of the car as they will NEVER get severed there if the car is hit...under the car theres soo much heat and things can hit it ..ive always ran them inside

Shortlife,

The battery is tiny, but has 680cca, but this translates to 400 amps
for 20 sec at 0c. This is pretty much what the stock S2000 battery
does, the difference is that the Odyssey battery has a very small
reserve of only 17min. So this means no parking and blasting the
stereo, or using the headlights to play basketball

Here's a few pics of the battery cable, which is run inside, and
is clamped down realy well, with it held above and away from
any sharp edges. I also added a nylon wire loom cover for more
protection. I need to make another bracket to hold the main
fuse box in front of the ecm.

And one shot of all the harness wiring. Looks like a birds nest!
The box installed in the engine compartment is the S2000 aux box,
and is used to connect the battery to the starter, and the alternator
to the main harness. It was also used for the electric sttering, but I
will use those circuits to power the head lights, as there is a few
heavy duty relays, and fuses in the aux box.

Jesus. That car is going to be nuts! Quite possibly the best motor swap ever.

Oldschool, thanks, that is a really huge compliment!!
But I must defer to Streetfame and his "Deamon"
project, as I think his work is more "pro" like, and
mine is more on the lines of a "shade tree mechanic"

Got the main fuse box installed in the cabin on the passenger side.
I dont think I will have room for a glove box. I also added a battery
disconnect switch, no real happy with the mount for it, so I may
make a special plate for it. The aux fuse box will be on the drivers
side (its laying on the floor. In the process I figured out that I am
missing one of the dash harnesses that connects the guage cluster
to the ECM, and to the main fuse box. So am making a barter for
this item, from a friend on the BB who happens to work at a Honda
dealership I also am trial fitting the rear harness to the
fuel pump. Getting close to start...

its to bad you cant mount the main box in the center below or above the heater and make an access panel like am early jag...actualy haveing where you do you might just trim out the back of a glove box and have access to it that way

boy those seats are HAMMERED...tell me you got the s2000 seats as well

cant wait till mine is that far along
