1986 2.0 in a 1972 GTV

What do I need to look out for installing a 1986 2.0 in my 1971 GTV? I have seen lots of discussion on Alfetta motors and twin sparks in Spiders and they all seem to need pilot bushing work. The IAP catalog lists the same pilot bushing for 71 to 94, same with clutches.

Will it bolt up to the 71 trans OK? Thanks!

Hi Trav,

Out of curiosity, are you planing to use the '86 F.I. system, or use Spica or carbs? I imagine that there will be more modifications involved there than possible changes needed to bolt up the trans.
