1971 GTV 1750 Twinspark rebuild

Hey everyone, I posting for my father. He is computer illiterate so I do much of the research for him. Love the forum by the way. Anyways, he is having the engine rebuilt and is going twin spark. He doesn't know much about the technical side of converting to twin spark so i told him I'd do some reading for him. The work is being done by a very reputable shop in the chicago area. He mentioned something about a different type of engine management that would increase the HP. Can anyone shed some light on this for me? I'm reading as much as possible right now so any info pertaining to the T/S conversion would be much appreciated. Recommendations for cams and other parts would be appreciated as well. It helps to know a little when talking to the mechanic. I'm use to working on mid 80's bmw's so this stuff is new to me. Thanks!
