Nope, nope, nope and nope.
1-Use a programmable/mappable EFI otherwise it would be a silly backward piece of engineering that will cost (serious) Hp.
2- Do NOT use a distributor but DIS coils. (coil on plug cap)
3- A Brava is an FWD Fiat. Unless over there a Brava is a different kind of Fiat than it is over here...Go with a 124 box, or go sequential, as in the car I pictured.
You want a modern engine? Go all the way!

what you are suggesting re points 1 and 2 is what you do on a 75/ 164 aluminium TS engine.

I certainly agree with advantages of full electronic management system, but the engine I have does not have the necessary ECU and other ancillaries.
The other option is using an aftermarket engine management system such as Motec, Haltech etc.
I am planning to use this engine for the local Retro Touring Championship which does not allow fuel injection, multi coils and ignition management system.
Currently I am running a 2000cc engine with 10:4 pistons and 292deg cams with Fiat 131 (we have the Brava version here) gearbox and Mitsubishi Limited slip rear end.
I am hoping this 156 TS engine could be more competitive compared to my current engine.

well, a 156 engine like you described will not be more competitive. That I can tell you. It will be horrendously expensive to get real HP out of it. not to mention having to fabricate far too much. It is also iron block so quite heavy, though the crank is far lighter than that of a Nord engine.
You would do better, AND cheaper AND easier to go to Max at Alfaholics, and get him to ship you a fully prepped 75 TS engine on carbs, with special cams, head work and programmable ignition. With a good exhaust and some other stuff you can see 200 dyno HP. That should do the trick.
There are no performance parts for a 156 unless you count in the D2 and D3 engines as used in STW, but those are REALLY expensive to run. I mean as in DTM levels of price to run.
The advantage of racing a 156 engine is that without emissions stuff etc, and a programmable ignition and injection, you can get almost 200 Hp out of a bog standard engine. You won't achieve that on carbs. You have no cams, no nothing, etc. So lot's of trouble, lot's of work. Dead end I should think. Can't you find an Alfa 75 over there? Or even a 164TS? Otherwise I can have you one shipped. They are not expensive here.
