Here's an excellent NGK website, with specs and other info: Contact NGK Spark Plugs

You'll note that they recommend BP7ES plugs, gapped at .025". Yours are hotter. This heat range is generally used for those who do a lot of stop and go city driving or whose engine is getting a bit worn.

The BP plugs have projected tips. They can be a problem when a car has a modified cylinder head, so I use B7ES plugs for normal driving and a step colder for extended drives (B8ES).

I got it running!

Well, I gapped the plugs .25, Then removed the distributor and notice some goo at the 'U" clip attachment places. I check the gap .18, cleaned the goo, Then she fired up right away. Now I have a fast idle when warmed up. about 10 on the tach. One more thing. Cold idle was rough and smokey. But she runs great at full gallop. But idles fast in the driveway. Any suggestions? I think it may be the Thermostatic Actuator. But not sure..

Thank You,

Mark

There's a link to a pot full of Spica how-to info somewhere on the BB. Try doing a search for it. I haven't had a Spica-injected car for years and don't remember much about them.
