2.5 engine wiring help...ASAP!!!

ok guys...i dont have time or the patience atm to work thru the wireing diagrams any further..ive wasted FAR too much time trying to figure it out and need this info ASAP!!!!! as i need to be able to drive the "project" onto the trailer and off of it into its "show" position on the 14th.....pushing and winching would be a HUGE PITA as it would be me and only me doing it..ZERO help is going with me

i have a COMPLETE engine harness from a milano platinum..still attatched to the engine in the milano chassis under the lloyd body 1987 harness and engine

i could care less about gauges for the moment..id just like to know what wires i need to connect off of the harness to start the car long enuf to drive it onto and off of the trailer....i dont need radiator fans as it wont be running long enuf to matter

what i see on the harness is a 9 pin plug with 7 wires on it.(seems to be the only plug that comes off the engine harness???)..looks like 2 or 3 of them were for gauges...id be willing to assume that 1 or 2 go back to the fuel pump and the rest are for ignition power...as i see the starter itself is NOT wired into the engine harness(and for the starter to function its a simple matter of power + trigger power)...dont care about ALT either unless its a requirement as i see its separate from the engine harness as well(10-1 odds ill end up with a modern alt later anyway)

im VERY strapped for time and have spent FAR to much time looking at alfa diagrams trying to figure it out..if they looked even half way like an american diagram id have had it in 20 mins of looking at it..

honestly this is the ONLY piece of alfa wireing i will be useing....everything else on the project will be wired from scratch

From where to where do you want to swap? Form a Milano into a GTV6 or form Milano to Milano?
You'll need at least the injection and the ignition controller wired to the engine...
This here should give you a rough impression (klick on it for full size):

well thats just it i dont want to use ANYTHING outside of the engine harness..yes that contrains the ecu, afm, some relays and all the stuff to run the engine...the only thing that seems to exit the harness to the rest of the milano wireing is a 9 pin connector with 7 pins

thanx for the pic..but thats the harness ive got(except its a milano harness)...where do i need to connect power, fuel pump, ect to the harness at the 9/7 pin connector..and do i need to attatch anything to the coil or was that just a tach lead that i removed from it

its in a "custom" project....guages have yet to be descided and everything from the firewall to the rear bumper and anything NOT attatched to the engine harness will be wired from scratch!..all the way down to the puch button igniton and a new fuse box from an unknown car as of yet

i really just need to be able to start the car to drive it on and off the trailer by th 14th

Ok, some really rough and readys:

Red wires go direct to the battery.
Black wires go to ground.
Pink wires go to the ignition switch run position.

Fuel pumps are pink/white and come from the double relay (S2) via connector G73a (pin 1 of 15) then connector G99a (pin2 of 4). G73a was on the inside firewall rhs and G99a was probably in the trunk.

And just for the fun of it that's a different (and more correct) version.

Fuel pumps are pink/white and come from the double relay (S2) via connector G109 (pin 5 of 9) then G94c (pin 3 of 9) then G73a (pin1 of 15) then....

That version is on my site, Group 00 (page 34/3).

No, pin 5 of the 9 pin connector (G109) goes to the fuel pump (pink wire with white stripe).

No, the three lines about red, black and pink wires was a generic comment, pink (no stripe) generally is switched power from the ignition switch.

Ok, again:

Pin 5 is the fuel pump from the double relay
Pin 2 is ignition from the ignition switch
Pin 8 is starter form the ignition switch
the two red wires from the double relay must be connected to 12V battery...

AND you need extra 12V on #15 of the ignition coil! Without that your engine won't start...

ok let me see if i got this right

only 3 are used on the 9 pin?
5 (pink with white stripe) goes to the fuel pump(positive i assume?)
2 (pink) is ignition on
8 (purple) is start on ignition switch
leaving 3(white/black) 2(pink) and a brown and tan(temps) unused...i would have figured the other heavy #2 pink would be 12v off ignition or batt?

12v batt power to #15 on coil(ignition 12 or batt 12?)

the only leftover wires i see is heavy red with hoop that looks like a 12v battery wire comming off neer the coil wiring, 3 wires off the starter...no brainer here 1 battery 1 low volt bat and 1 to start...and then 4 wires off the alt which shouldnt be needed right now but might be nice to add into it, 1 heavy red(battery 12+) 1 small green(is this the "stock" 12v to coil #15?) and a 2 wire black connection which i asume if for the guages)

please make corrections if i have errored or tell me im on the right track...thanx for the input so far

i do have 1 other minor issue..the 3 wires for the TPS(milano style) came out of there connector..but i should be able to figure that out by the diagrams fairly easy

I think you need the red on pin 1 as well, to the battery via a fuse.
