Question Alfa 75 3.0 -88 New Electrical System Problem...

Ok... This is how it is now...

Except for the things under the hood, I have removed everything else inside my car...
Things haven't worked out excatly as I planned... biggest problem may have been that I didn't have a plan to begin with...

The problem is to get the electrics back togather...
I have a German manual, and I don't unsderstand german... though the electrical diagrams are good, and I have three or four downloaded manuals in english.

I have been trying to make a new scheme based on a couple of things...

1. As few connections as possible, I want it to start with A and end with B, I don't want any C, D, E and so on, so the big chunk of cables behind the glovecompartment will have to go.
2. Only the cables that are needed to get the car running, will deal with the rest later...

As it is now, it feels like I don't have the knowledge to do it so the motivation is gone and I dont know what to do, so the car have been standing for over a year and I haven't done anything...

So I need some help.

G'Day ????,

What are your plans for the car? Racer with minimum electrics or street car with everything working?

If a street car, just put it back together the way it was. Clean every connector with a good contact cleaner. Otherwise you will just drive yourself crazy, it's a very very big job to re-wire.

G'Day Craig!

Well, the plans are to make a street car with minimum electrics.
I'm not going to install the stereo again, I'm not using it anyway...

All I want is to get the car to start, I know how to fix the lights, powerwindows and so on afterwords, main thing is to get it to start.

Putting it all back again will also be difficult since I had to cut some of the wires to be able to remove them, and it is somewhat of a mess, even if I only had to cut 5-10 cables.
And I don't wanna give up, I do want to remake it without putting them back.

And I'm already crazy so no difference there...

Well, getting it to start should be easy, all you need is the ECU's and ignition switch. Most of which should be under the hood and untouched.

Check the wiring diagrams on pages 42/42 of Section E (Electrical Diagrams) available from my site.
