Gtv-6 Alt. Problems......

This weekend my Alt. took a dump. Being a good Alfa owner, I dug through my bedroom closset, and right behind the extra windshield I found my spare alt. I installed it and my problem was solved. My question is this:

If I were to purchase a new Alt., and wanting the highest amperage possible, what model should I buy? I was told Spider alts. are 125A, will it bolt in?
