I haven't seen this one Before!!
I have been having a problem with the driver's low beam head light on my '85 spider.
I have 12 volts at the connector at the headlamp for both high and low beams
The high beam works fine.
When I connect to the headlamp the voltage on the connector drops to zero.
It seems that when I put the circuit under load, the voltage drops to nothing. When I unhook the connector, the voltage goes back to 12 volts.
I have also put jumpers out of the connector and manually connect to the headlamp. On the high beam circuit, the 12 volts stays consatnt and I can light either high beam or low beam by switching the jumpers to the headlight terminals.
When I hook the jumpers up onn the low beam circuit, the voltage just drops to zero when I touch them to the headlamp terminals.
Do you guys have any Idea what might be going on here?
Thanks for any input on this.
Mark
