For '71 105.62 Spider owners.....

Seems I've hit a little snag in drawing the wiring diagram for your car and need some help. There are two wires in question;

1) the wire from the brake fluid level sensors to the warning light on the dash is listed as color code 'AR' in the Alfa diagram. But that code isn't in the owners manual. Does anyone know what color AR stands for? Or, maybe you could look under the hood at the wire and tell me what color it is.

2) at the fusebox, there are three wires connected to the cold side of fuse #6; one is white and another is red. In the Alfa diagram, the third wire leaves the fusebox labled as violet but somehow changes to pink by the time it reaches the gauges. So what color is it?

TIA

Jim, I just got home from my sister-in-law's for Thanksgiving and just now read your question. I'll go out tomorrow and try to get the answers for you (I'm feeling a little under the weather right now and I'm hoping it's not something I ate). In terms of colors, the two that AR could be the start of in Italian that come immediately to mind are argento (silver) and arancio (orange). I doubt it's silver. I'll take a look tomorrow though and see what's up.

I really appreciate the effort you put into the wiring diagrams. I have the factory diagram from the CarDisc but your diagrams are much easier to read!

You nailed the AR as orange, Bob! Looked at one of the other diagrams and it uses the same color for the same device. One down, one to go.
Hope you feel better.

Jim, there are indeed both black and orange wires coming from the master cylinder reservoir. They go to back side and then split off and go to the front side.

I see a pink wire coming from the bottom of the #6 fuse (I hope the bottom is the cold side) along with the other two wires. I didn't really stick my head way up under the dash (still feeling a little queasy); I can take a better look later if you want.
