Diagnosing Alternator Light Troubles

I found this site while searching for ways to diagnose a suspect alternator/charging system. I have been a victim of the "flickering light syndrome," and this overview would have been helpful in fixing that problem. Since it was posted to the Vintage Triumph Register, it says little about Alfa grounding issues. Needless to say, any time an Alfa has an electrical problem you should "go to the ground" first. However, it certainly gave me a much better understanding of the charging process, and how to figure out where the gremlins live.

If this saves anyone a minute, great.
