need help!!!

i own a 1978 Spider Veloce and there is no voltage to the fuel pump... where does the power come from? what are some common problems? what do i need to check?

all help is appreciated

First, check the fuse. The fuse is the one under the left side of the dashboard in the 2-fuse block, not the big one with many fuses.

From there, check that the ground to the pump is clean and tight where it attaches to the body.

If the fuse is OK, check the inertia switch - the plastic cylindrical device that is mounted on the firewall on the passenger side. There is a button on the top. It opens the circuit to the fuel pump when the button pops up.
