Headlight and Fuse Blowing

Just completed reqiring my '76 Spider and wqas happy to report that nothing caught on fire during my function check, however I did have to issues that I'm somewhat lost on.

Issue 1:
Headlights, low beam-right headlight only
Headlights, high beam-left headlight only

I've swapped the headlights and the problem remains. I've got good voltage going to both sides--best guess is I need a new column switch.

Issue 2
Number 3 fuse intermittently blows. Not sure what is causing it. I;ve traced the three wires. The red wire from the colum switch is good to go. The red to the flasher unit is good and the other red wire that goes to the glove box light, and the blower switch appear good as well. I did not continue the red wire from the blower switch to the cigarette lighter.

The fuse is blowing without turning on the blower switch or glove light, so I'm not sure what would be causing it to blow and one time it blew as soon as the ignition was turned to the start position and then it blew again while the car was running. Could this be a ground issue?
