fuel injector wiring harness

Friends,

I am reviving a GTV6 that has sat without an engine for about 15 years. My question is, how do I determine which injector wire goes to which injector. The bundles have just been tucked away in the engine bay so the natural bends are not apparent.

Thanks,
Jeff

I do not know if this applies to the GTV-6 or not but in the L-jet Spider all the injectors squirt simultaneously. In other words, they don't squirt in any sort of firing order like the spark plugs. The harness is built in such a way that (in the Spider) the wires are slightly different lengths so that it is easiest to plug in the shortest wire to the closest injector & so on.

For testing purposes I have swapped the connector for #4 to #3 and vice-versa and the engine runs fine.

'Batch' being all at once vs 'sequential' being one at a time in a particular order.

No idea on the 6 either, but I'd imagine batch as Eric surmised as it was still in the Motronic era. (don't hold me to that though as I'm just literally guessing, so if I'm wrong, it's Eric's fault for bringing it up to begin with. M'kay?)
