86 Spider Wiring Diagram

I'm running my 86 Spider into an auto electical shop in Honolulu today. Brake lights stopped working two days after I bought it. Everything was functioning normally as I drove away. I can't help thinking that my big toe caught one of those wires that occasionally dangle under the dash and unplugged it. Problem is to find it. Problem is in Honolulu there is one Alfa mechanic that I am aware of and he's in Seattle on his two week military duty. I'll be bringing these auto electicians two of the spider wiring diagrams posted here for other years. Is it a safe assumptiion that the basic wiring scheme for the light system hasn't changed much during the years 78 to 86?

Mike

Not sure about the wiring diagram question. However, I had the same problem in my '81 Spider. It turned out that one of the spade connectors to the switch behind the brake pedal had broken. All I had to do was replace the connector. I don't know if it's too late, but I'd check that switch first.
