Yep. That's the correct diagram for your 86 Spider. All I need is your email address to send you the diagram.

Welcome Thomas!

I not sure if a 1968 is a Series 1 or a Series 2 (I'm thinking S1). Could you please provide the chassis number? I'll also need your email address.

Unfortunately, no. The closest I have is the 101 Series that has eight fuses.

Jim, I can move this question elsewhere if you're not sure.

First I want to say how beautifully the 1979 Alfetta GTV diagram you sent me printed out on 24" x 36" paper. Thank you. My question being, is the indicated thermal switch coming from the A/C compressor the one which is located on the receiver/drier? My understanding is that switch is referred to as a high pressure relief valve.

Biba

Biba,
I'm so sorry. After researching your question. I forgot all about it.
To answer your question, I don't know. I looked thru a few parts books and the only switch I could find that's fitted to a pressure line is shown as being on the compressor for the Berlina/GTV 2000. However, for the Berlina 2.0, there appears to be a switch on the receiver/drier (no compressor switch). If it is a switch, it is not listed as a separate, replaceable part (not to mention that this parts book lists only key and part numbers; no part description).
Given my understanding of A/C systems, the high side pressure is related to refrigerant temperature. Measure the resistance between the two switch terminals. If zero ohms (or thereabout), my guess would be that this 'thermal switch' may a safety device to cut power to the compressor in the event the high side pressure exceeds a certain value. If the resistance is infinity, the switch may be to prevent compressor operation if the A/C system is devoid of refrigerant (or the switch is broken ). I recall though that a low system pressure switch would be on the low, or suction, side of the system, not on the high side where the receiver/drier is.

taccone,
1988 Spider wiring diagrams have been sent (sorry, no 1989).

Welcome.

The closest I can get to your 1970 Super is a post 1968 with generator or a 1972 model. Would you like both? I'll need your email address (in a private message) to send them to you.
