Wiring Diagram for 1986 Euro Spider
I need to get hold of a wiring diagram for a 1986 Spider - the fuse #7 (blade style) blows immediatey so im guessing there is a short somewhere - the radio, cigarette lighter etc doesnt work so Im guessing that its the same fuse....
I just got the car so im at a bit of a loss to work out where to start with it (and the manual I have doesnt seem to be for exactly the same model as it only has 10 fuses shown!)
Thanks in advance - Dave

Hi there, i have a 74 GT 1600 Junior, if you have a colour wiring diagram that would be awesome. What size is the image? I can print up to A0, so the bigger the better!
Contact me via the forum to email me.
Thanks for doing this, much appreciated - very happy to donate.

Reason: high security, or is that anxiety?

Argh. I cannot start my '87 graduate. After sitting for the winter, she started up right away. I took her for a car wash, drove her home without incident. I went out the following morning and again, she started right up. I forgot something so I shut her off and that was the end. She hasn't started for 3 weeks. When I turn the key, I get a click and ALL the power in the car goes dead. I take off the neg. cable from the battery, then reinstall it and I have lights again. I turn the key, click and the entire car is dead again...and so it goes. I've cleaned all the connections I can find, cleaned the copper ground cable. I don't know what to try. Can you help?

I'd start by connecting a voltmeter to the battery cables. Note the voltage then turn on the key. If there is a significant drop in voltage, suspect battery cables or the battery. If little or no voltage drop, move the voltmeter to the junction block on the left inner fender. Repeat the test. If a voltage drop, suspect a poor connection at the starter or wire connections from starter to junction block. If no voltage drop, a poor connection between the junction block and fusebox may be the cause.
If you'd like a wiring diagram, please provide an email address and whether the fusebox has bullet or blade style fuses.

Thanks PapaJam!
PapaJam,
Thanks again for that great wiring diagram! Oil Pressure gauge issue solved. I drove a little over 200 miles today and we had all systems go. While the gremlins have the lead for sure, at least we can put this one in the win column! Happily and gratefully made donation.
Take care,
Joe

88 Spider
Do you have a wiring diagram for a 88 Spider or something close? My next door neighbor Richard bought a 88 Spider and it has some electrical issues (lighting). We both have a shop manual and CD but they are hard to read. Attached is a picture of his new car in Ponte Vedra Beach.
Thanks, Richard
