Blinker & tail light problems

Help team! I have a '79 spider that I just replaced the broken turn signal/headlight/wiper switch on. I also removed the dash for a refurbish using Akitaman's technique found on the bb. Now that everything is hooked back up I still don't have turn signals or taillights. I got the used switch from Ed prytherch here on the bb. He stated that all the lights worked on the donor car. When I turn on the emergency flashers I get them on the left and not on the right. I replaced bulbs and checked grounds. All seem to be O.K. What have I done wrong? Here is a brief rundown:
1. Good headlights
2. No turn signals
3. No tail lights
4. Good brake lights
5. Left blinkers/ no right blinkers with emergency hazard switch on.
6. Replaced all turn signal bulbs and checked grounds.

Do you have turn signals in the front? Can you hear the flasher engaging/disengaging when signals are switches?

For my rear lights, I discovered some of the wiring to be chaffed and grounding where the wires go into the light assembly housing. You might want to pull those wires out one at a time and check to see if any metal is exposed in the wire. I also had to turn the wire about 180 degree's for good contact with the bulb.

Have you tried bending some wires at different points along the wire to see if you can get the lights to turn on? Could be a slight break in one of the wires, unseen because of the insulator.

Check in the fusebox for popped or poorly contacting fuses?

Check the back of the fusebox for loose or unhooked wires?

Check the flasher relay for servicability?

Gentlemen, I just wanted to post a follow-up on the lighting issues I was having. After I obtained sage advice here I went to work on my baby and cleaned everything that I could think of. All grounds, all connections, fuse box, etc. I then replaced all fuses, bulbs, and the flasher unit. I obtained one of papajams wiring diagrams and started to work on the wiring. I don't know if the p.o. did someting different or if my Alfa didn't follow the diagram but instead of the flashers, heater motor, and glovebox light working off of #3 fuse they were connected to #5 fuse with the emergency flashers. This took some time to figure out. Once I figured this out it was a simple matter of tracing wires and discovering some discrepancies. I sorted it all out and now have everything working. Thanks for the great advice

Amazing what you find going on with things like that when someone is allowed to tinker without supervision isn't it
