engine doesn't stop

Engine starts fine but won't stop when I switch her off. She'll run even if I remove the key from the ignition switch. It's not a question of dieseling. Have to put her in gear and lift the clutch to make her stop.

Sounds like a bad ignition key switch. Do the gauges die when you turn the key switch off?

Yeah, if the ignition switch is still providing power to the relay switching circuit, then you've got an ignition switch problem... (if applicable)

What model/year Alfa is it?
