Well another awesome weekend in El Salvador. We had a good weekend. I finished 1st in Class B and Jeff Thraen won Class C. Victor Tarazi won overall and Class A. Here are some pictures.

What a fantastic experience. We flew into El Salvador for a fantastic weekend of racing. Three days on the track including a 100 kilometer race with the "big boys". What a thrill.

The track is amazing. A great mix of fast and slow sections with plenty of elevation change. It takes a little while to get used to corner workers standing on the edge of the track, especially the ones standing on the outside. When you over cook corner entry and see the workers running for safety, it really gets your attention.

But never mind the racing. The people are the best. In spite of my limited Spanish, I made a bunch of new friends. Everyone was extremely friendly, even after Anthony and I stole the show.

Dirk, you can hire me to drive your car again anytime. I will be there.
