Cool progress, and the gods looking in my favor it seems

greetings all, been some time since I have checked in. (for those of you who forgot, I am kevin, the chef who went with jude aka alfa nola to alfa tech day.). I have been making slow progress on the 76 which I have purchased from jude (with the intent of making it into a street legal racecar/custom). while looking through the misc parts boxes I just discovered the original ignition key (thought to be lost, good thing I did not yet order the ignition switch). so, long story short (if not too late) my car is coming along one step at a time. the (ugly) bumpers are removed, the (unnecessary) interior trim has been removed, and the car is getting cleaned up so it can move to the next step. I plan to fit an original grill from a 73 and do a custom frontend and tail section (with ferrari inspired tail lights and side marker light/turn signals). planning on having carbon fiber sheet laminated onto the lightened (original) hood. the final plan will take some time, but it will be a very distinctive vehicle when it is done. well worth the wait.

next I need to get the spica system working. but have new fuel filters and pumps, so should have all the parts needed to get the car running soon (time permitting).

Kevin,

If you are hanging around with Alfa nola, you're in good hands. Also, regarding your SPICA; be sure to search the BB for the BB information about bringing a SPICA car back to life. Finally: pictures. BB'ers love pictures.
