Steam Cleaning

Hi all,

I am interested in possibly steam cleaning my wheel wells and the bottom of my GTV. Does anyone have any suggestions about where in the Bay area I can get this done, or do you think this is a good/bad idea on a 32yo car?

Steam cleaning. Steam cleaners have the abilty to strip paint off a car.

I'd suggest buying Simple Green, and spraying the wells, wait a couple of minutes, and rinse with a garden hose. It does a real good job, sometimes you need to repeat the procedure.

If you have access to a high pressure washer, then that's even better. But a Garden hose and simple green will do the job.

I wash all my panasports for the track with goof off. I put some on my sponge, then only due the wheels(bad on tires) then rinse. It has gotton the worst brake dust and grease off of my race wheels.
