Can't say I have heard of any of the products so far mentioned in this thread, perhaps all US products ??

From my experience I will stick with the AutoGlym (UK) range of products. Have always been very happy with these. And they are supposedly used by Rolls Royce, Aston Martin and Jaguar from new, as well as by appointment to the Queen for the Royal Family's cars. Seems like a "glowing" endorsement to me. My 2 cents worth. Dave

Mate that would indeed be a very scary thought. Perhaps best not even to think of such possibilities !!

I use Zymol on my GTV, and it's brilliant. I wash the car with their wash, and about every 6 months I go over it with the Zymol HD Cleanse (paint cleaner/polish) and the Titanium wax. The paint cleaner is way better than anything else I've ever used. And the wax seems to last pretty well. The shine I get out of the paint is amazing. In fact the paint on the GTV shines better and is smoother to touch than the paint on my 6-week old new car.

Detailer's Paradise

I have used a lot of car care products over the years, mostly Meguiar's and 3M, but in the last couple of years I have switched almost exclusively to a local Colorado company called Detailers Paradise.

Detailers Paradise: Premium Car Care Products, Auto Detailing

Their Epic wax (actually a synthetic sealant) is very easy to apply, has great gloss, and lasts about 6 months on my daily drivers. They also have a new wax called Banana Gloss, which I haven't tried yet but am very excited to try. I use their quick detailer spray all the time, which is better than anything I've used, including Griot's.

OK, so their products work, but back to why I am so impressed with them:

1) The company is owned by a couple of Alfa owners, who are also some of the nicest people you will ever meet and will bend over backwards to help people with their car care issues!

2) Believe it or not, their waxes, polishes, detailing spray, etc. are all made in the USA.

Last year they made up a special detailing kit for us at Centerline (with a trick custom bag), which is still available, but for the full range of products you can just go directly to their site.

I wanted to just reinforce what Joe Cab says....Prima products are fantastic. Joe didn't mention the best of their offering - Hydro. Basically it is a spray-on synthetic wax that you spray on when you're drying.

It doesn't look like it does anything until you let it sit for 24 hours. It really makes the colors pop. It also does an admirable job of hiding light scratches considering how easy it is.

The work vs reward ratio is high which makes the most sense to me - less time detailing equals more time behind the wheel!

Plus, the owners are outstanding people. I don't mind giving them my money ;-)
