What exactly is a polymer Just something that's not a wax?

Think of a ploymer sealant as having a higher synthetic content and being more durable than an organic based wax.
The Blackfire link I posted above mentions some of the differences. Here is another comparison:

I've been very satisfied with Klasse All in one. I top it off with a different sealant though (Blackfire or Four Star Ultimate Paint Protection).

All in one is great, thin application, easy wipe off, super duper shiny.
Sealant I found out the hard way you need to do it in cool weather, hard here in the summer. and very very think. Small areas only, with a bit damp of an applicator. No swirling, back and forth motions. Micro fiber to remove. The longer it stays on the better.
Supposedly Chip resistant, etc and so on. Not only that since it is acrylic, it does not melt off the car. So it stays much much longer.
I bought the kit, it was much cheaper, comes with 2 application pads, two micro fiber pads and 2 micro fiber towels, with all in one and sealant.
Also mix the sealant in a bottle with distilled water to make a detail spray, work awesome. better than any off the shelf spray I have used.
Damp micro fiber one side and dry on the other and spray on and wipe with damp side then buff off with dry, so ridiculous shiny I can't believe it.
I have used mother's, muigiers Professional, 3m, zimol, and more. Best results with Klasse. Dark colors come out amazing.

I make a detail spray with 50./50 distilled water and sealant glaze. Works better than any spray I have used. I just did the wifes car and it poored rain here the other day and the car still looks like it did when I washed and waxed it.
Highly recommended by me, and recommended to me by a customer who has used for 15-20 years.
Just my opinion, when you run out, try it.
Ciao!

I opted to buy some Pinnacle Souveran. Its to dang expensive. It has 37% carnuba wax. It says its best on dark color cars. I first put it on my wifes yellow spider. It is bright and shiney but the yellow doesn't have depth. So I put it on the Acura...dark green. At first I said where is the shine. The next day after the wax had a chance to harden, the shine was amazing. Its been about 60 days+ since I shined the paint and it is holding well. About time to do it again. I also opted to put their carnuba based finish shine on top of the wax. Keeps that fresh look going. I am putting it on the black 94Q. First I am using a clay bar to get the imperfections out, then using some paint cleaner/wax from 3M to get the heavy spots. Then I wax with Souveran and the shine is brillant, and the paint is smooth. I am half done on the car with the other half to go before Concorso. Not easy in a hot garage even at night.

I have been using a carnauba based car wax on my Alfa's for many years. I use a product called "Harly Wax" that is available from a distributor. Check out Harly Wax, Pure Brazilian Carnauba- Pauls Products Distr of Harley Wax for info. It leaves a very deep smooth lustre that is easy to maintain. As you build up the wax protection on the car you only have to put on thinner and thinner layers of wax that buffs out very easily. I have no affiliation with Harly, just a satisfied user.
